Tech Camps
For 2025
For children currently in Grade 3 through age 12
Unique mixed-age Tech Camps build valuable STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) skills.
Classes are taught by AccelerateKID in the Roeper computer lab.
All AccelerateKID® curricula are STEM.org® Reviewed Certified.
Each Friday campers will present their project to their parents/guardians. The presentation time will be 20 minutes prior to the end of class.
Javascript Hacker & Minecraft Creators
offered session 1
Each week campers will learn a different skill. JavaScript Coding will teach campers about advanced computer science using JavaScript programming language. Campers will learn advanced JS programming logic and debug skills, understand JS syntaxes, and develop custom apps and games using sports and animal themes. In addition, campers will learn Python and Java fundamentals.
Minecraft Creators is where creativity meets technology! Using Minecraft: Education Edition, campers will explore the fundamentals of building and coding in an engaging, hands-on environment. Participants will design and construct imaginative worlds while learning essential coding skills through in-game challenges and activities. Whether crafting intricate structures, collaborating on team projects, or programming with tools like MakeCode and Python, kids will develop problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned Minecraft enthusiasts, this camp is a fun and educational way to inspire future innovators!
3D Printing Artist & Roblox eSports
offered session 2
Each week campers will learn a different skill. In 3D Printing Artist, campers will learn about 3D modeling using TinkerCAD and printing technology using 3D printers. The goal is to learn how to design a 3D model, apply concepts such as additive and subtractive design, and print using our 3D printer. Campers will also design storyboards, work in teams or individually, problem solve their projects, and develop final presentations.
Camper will take their love for the Roblox game to a developer level by designing and constructing an eSport arena using Roblox Studio. Campers will learn Roblox commands, 3D modeling, textures, arena development and some Lua programming language. In addition, campers will gain 21st-century skills including creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication.
Robotics Engineering & Web Designers

Each week campers will learn a different skill. Ignite your creativity and engineering skills with Robotic Engineering! Using LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime, campers will dive into the exciting world of robotics, combining hands-on building with coding to bring their creations to life. Participants will design and construct robots, then program them using intuitive coding platforms like Scratch and Python to complete fun challenges and tasks. This camp fosters problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation, making it perfect for aspiring engineers and tech enthusiasts. Whether you’re new to robotics or ready to take your skills to the next level, this camp promises a summer full of learning and discovery!
Unleash your creativity with Website Designer, where young innovators will learn to design and build their very own websites using Wix! Campers will explore the fundamentals of web design, from crafting visually stunning layouts to adding interactive features and personalized content. Along the way, they’ll gain valuable coding experience, learning the basics of HTML to enhance their sites. Perfect for aspiring designers and entrepreneurs, this camp encourages creativity, problem-solving, and digital skills that will last a lifetime. By the end of the week, participants will proudly showcase their fully functional, custom-built websites!

In Comic Creators, campers will design a personal Comic Book Project. The goal is to learn the key phases of how to create a compelling comic book for fans. Every student will design their personal comic book and present their build at the end of the week!

8:00 am-4:00 pm
Tech Camp is $1135 per session
A camper registered for 8 weeks of camp [Day Camp, Specialty Day Camp, or a combination of Day Camps and Theatre Camp], will receive a $400 discount applied after registration.
Daily Hot Lunch and snack are included in the tuition
Before and After Care are available for an additional fee
